Holocene Coffee Table

This single-width African Mahogany slab is preserved in a seamless steel base.  While the one natural edge is embraced the other is exploited to provide a unique view of intricate patterns formed by termites. 

​

The base was designed to allow for the expansion and contraction of single width timber tops in different climates.

​

Side tables and plinths are also available.
